- Stay on I-5 South through Sorrento Valley and past the La Jolla and UTC exits, roughly 12 miles.
- Take the Grand Avenue / Garnet Avenue exit in Pacific Beach.
- Head west on Garnet. We are at 1062 Garnet Ave, on the Garnet strip.
Drive time, parking and timing
Parking: there is street parking along Garnet Avenue and the surrounding side streets. Evenings and weekends are busier, and the side streets a block or two off Garnet are usually your quickest option.
Coming from a specific part of 92130? Carmel Country Highlands, Pacific Highlands Ranch, Torrey Hills, Del Mar Mesa and Torrey Highlands all connect to the same I-5 or SR-56 route. If you are already in Del Mar or La Jolla, you are only a few minutes from us.
Around Carmel Valley
It is an outdoorsy part of San Diego, and that is worth thinking about before you book. A new tattoo needs to stay out of strong sun and out of the ocean, pools and hot tubs while it heals. If you run the canyon trails or spend weekends at Torrey Pines State Beach, plan your tattoo around your calendar and follow the aftercare instructions your artist gives you. Our tattoo aftercare page covers the basics.
