Rancho Peñasquitos piercing FAQs

Roughly 20 miles. Take SR-56 West to I-5 South and exit at Grand Avenue / Garnet Avenue. Outside rush hour the drive is usually 25 to 35 minutes.

Ask your piercer. Jewelry material and fit matter for healing, and our guide to jewelry for sensitive ears is a good place to start.

From the west side, SR-56 West to I-5 South is the usual route. From closer to I-15, I-15 South to SR-52 West and then I-5 South can be easier. Check live traffic before you leave.

It is better to wait. Sweat, dust and friction matter while a piercing heals, so schedule the piercing for after your run and ask your piercer when you can return to your routine.

Studs and flat-back jewelry are often used for new piercings because they sit comfortably while swelling goes down, and hoops can come later. Ask your piercer what suits your anatomy.
