Parking: park on the street along Garnet or on the residential streets nearby, and allow a few extra minutes on Friday and Saturday nights.

Carmel Mountain Ranch, Sabre Springs, Oaks North and the surrounding streets all reach I-15 within a few minutes, so the route is the same wherever you start.

Around Carmel Mountain Ranch

Carmel Mountain Ranch is centered on Carmel Mountain Plaza and the streets around Rancho Carmel Drive, with Sabre Springs along Poway Road and Sabre Springs Parkway. Los Peñasquitos Canyon Preserve and Black Mountain Open Space Park are close by for hikers.

It is a hilly, outdoorsy part of north San Diego, and a healing tattoo needs a break from heat, sweat and the trail. Keep it out of direct sun, pools and hot tubs while it heals, and follow the aftercare instructions your artist gives you. Our tattoo aftercare page covers the basics.
